At child, our goal is simple: to make learning irresistible. In other words, to uncover the potential within each child, enabling us to prepare and inspire them for a lifetime of learning, discovery and creative thinking.
The first five years of a child’s life are so important, and child is the perfect environment to protect and educate them during these years. In a world where children are rapidly loosing their childhood, our philosophy is to encourage, nurture and maintain the innocence and excitement of the children at such a precious time in their life.
At child, we guide our children by providing them with an intriguing array of outdoor areas, art, books and learning materials. We believe that childhood should be a joyful and exciting time and if guided properly, children will learn without even knowing that they are.
Above all, we firmly believe that children need to be nurtured in an environment where their creativity and imagination is embraced. In other words, where children can be children.
Learning through the eyes of a child
When you walk through the front doors at child, you’ll see a modern, professional company much like you see in any successful business.
However, when you walk through another door to our ‘children’s world’, you’ll discover an inspirational place where children can learn, imagine and develop in a creative, education environment. A fun and fascinating learning environment that reinforces our values of children being children. Your child’s imagination will be fuelled by a world of intentional learning. From quiet areas to activity areas, from bathrooms to sleep rooms, each environment is a planned and comforting place.
Outside each pre-school at child, the learning continues with an outdoor adventure-land. Your child will have everything they need to play and explore in our all-weather covered play areas. Our facilities include a variety of play surfaces, large shaded areas for sun protection, climbing equipment and a playground, including a sandpit, flower and vegetable gardens and paths where children can ride bikes.
