child provides all meals for your children during their day. For the younger children, all we ask is that you bring their own bottles with the formula they require, everything else is provided. Our chefs will design a well-balanced and nutritious menu daily, including morning and afternoon tea and a hot lunch.

Each day your child will be offered fresh fruit and vegetables and encouraged to drink water to promote healthy eating habits. At child, we also see meal times as an opportunity to reinforce hygiene, table manners and to involved the children in setting and clearing the tables independently.

In order to make it as easy as possible for you to leave the house in the morning, here at child we provide all nappies, wipes, creams etc, regardless of your child’s age. All you need to do is pack a spare change of clothes, a jacket, sun hat or warm hat. For the younger children, please remember you need to also pack their bottles of formula.

Everything else you need for your child’s day is provided - this includes all meals, drinks, sheets, blankets, pillows, nappies, baby wipes, sun block, activities, toys, equipment - and lots of inspiration!

For all children at child regardless of their age, all bedding is provided. Linen is named for your child and laundered weekly or replaced immediately if necessary. You are also welcome to pack a favourite blanket, pillow or cuddly if your child would feel more comfortable and secure at sleep time.

Our dedicated sleep rooms and environment include one of the country’s most advanced air conditioning systems which will maintain a comfortable, healthy climate all year round. Each pre-school at child is thermostatically controlled to keep it cosy in the winter and cool in the summer. What’s more, the fresh air from the air conditioning is ducted into the sleep rooms and is finely filtered, eliminating dust and pollen for children with respiratory problems. Our sleep rooms also include low level internal windows, allowing full visibility throughout and acoustic insulation for a restful sleep.

Our teaching team at child are qualified, registered teachers and teachers who have educational backgrounds and experience. They are carefully selected based on their experience, compassion and creativity. Our teachers are at child because they are motivated and committed and have a real passion and ability to relate to and educate young children.

They enjoy a family atmosphere in their workplace and are inspired by the imaginations and wonder of the young mind. Staff have first-aid training and a current first-aid certificate, as well as having undergone police and security checks; this is paramount to us to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our children. We also provide opportunities for our teachers at child to attend regular professional development courses to further their knowledge and expertise.
